Last Saturday, we made a trip up to the Gingin Observatory Centre. About an hour and a half away from Perth’s city centre, the glow of artificial lights fades and nature takes over. Jupiter is out in the constellation of Taurus, see if you can spot it, and any other constellations.

Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. I got a chance to peer at it through the telescope. The different cloud layers were visible, as well as 4 of its many moons (not shown in the photo).
